Maya Jane Coles was one of the biggest sensation of 2010 with the EP “What They Say”, released under Real Tones Records.
The 23 years old Anglo-Japanese DJ topped legal download sites’ charts, and this EP put her and the label under the spotlights.
Now is the time for the awaited remixes, especially the track “What They Say” which has appeared to the eyes of the public as highly inspired by 90’s House Music and particularly by Marc Kinchen’s style while in facts, Maya Jane Coles' influences encompass many different styles, ranging from Hip Hop and Trip-Hop to Dub, and nights out in London’s Drum & Bass/ Jungle underground scene.
To keep the momentum going around this instant classic and to give it a new depth, Real Tone Records has gathered the best from its roadster, which naturally includes Franck Roger, one of its co-founder, his Parisian friends Dyed Soundorom and Shonky from the Freak n' Chic crew with whom he has recently collaborated, Manoo, one the label's original member, who was given the remix of “Don't Tell” - another great track from this EP, and Nicolas Denis who is off to a great start under Real Tone.
Real Tone Records is definitely imposing itself as one of the most prolific label of the moment and is committing to keeping things as such
London based producer, italian origins, Rescue Disco founded his project in 2009.
RD is a fresh project, his main purpose is to bring the deep jazz vibes into the house sound; this is not a good reason to limit the influences that are various and always unexpected…Funk, Hip Hop, Tropical, African rhythms, Matsuri music and any kind of music reasonably interesting from any part of the world.
He played in several italian nightclubs becoming a loved project in the underground Neapolitan club scene.
Now he lives in London where he's playing and increasing his producer side.
